About
**** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE ORLANDO FLORIDA AREA I WOULD BE PROVIDING VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION FOR YOU OR YOUR STUDENT! FOR FASTER RESPONSES PLEASE DM ON INSTAGRAM**** I use a very student centric approach to teaching. Instead of laying out a preset curriculum, I allow my students to choose songs, genres or artists for their own learning material. My instruction will include the fundamentals that are necessary in any style/genre of playing, but I feel that by learning songs my students enjoy they can enjoy the process of learning and feel much more satisfied after they've mastered a concept or tune. As an independent instructor, I offer more personalized instruction that caters to each student's individual learning style. For both my online and in-person students, my instruction comes with additional practice materials that include custom PDF documents with tab and/or staff notation, YouTube links and even custom made videos that summarize the concepts covered in our sessions. I love being able to connect with my students and share my passion for music. As a professional musician, I take pride in seeing my students grow and develop their own artistic voices on their instruments. I offer discounts for my online services, college students who are enrolled in a music program and for students who want to take multiple lessons per week.

Matt has not only taught me how to play guitar as an instrument, he’s taught me how to play the songs I like and the theory behind why my favorite songs sound the way they do. He always sends post lesson notes and is very responsive to messages and schedule changes. All and all, I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn guitar and understand why music sounds the way it does!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am beyond grateful for the incredible impact my son's guitar teacher is having on his musical journey......and this is the very beginning! Matt is patient, kind, and his passion, and dedication have not only inspired my son , but also ignited a deeper love for music than he was born with. The kid has the music in him, Matt is bringing it out! He goes above and beyond in every lesson—encouraging, challenging, and super chill. They are building a strong foundation and relationship...this is a rare gift. Thank you for your unwavering support, your kindness, and the positive influence you are having on my son’s life. We feel truly lucky to have you as his teacher!
