About
**** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE ORLANDO FLORIDA AREA I WOULD BE PROVIDING VIRTUAL INSTRUCTION FOR YOU OR YOUR STUDENT! FOR FASTER RESPONSES PLEASE DM ON INSTAGRAM****
I use a very student centric approach to teaching. Instead of laying out a preset curriculum, I allow my students to choose songs, genres or artists for their own learning material. My instruction will include the fundamentals that are necessary in any style/genre of playing, but I feel that by learning songs my students enjoy they can enjoy the process of learning and feel much more satisfied after they've mastered a concept or tune.
As an independent instructor, I offer more personalized instruction that caters to each student's individual learning style. For both my online and in-person students, my instruction comes with additional practice materials that include custom PDF documents with tab and/or staff notation, YouTube links and even custom made videos that summarize the concepts covered in our sessions.
I love being able to connect with my students and share my passion for music. As a professional musician, I take pride in seeing my students grow and develop their own artistic voices on their instruments.
I offer discounts for my online services, college students who are enrolled in a music program and for students who want to take multiple lessons per week.

Amazing experience! I had an online guitarlesson and was genuinely impressed with how much I got out of it. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and easy to learn from. He explained things in a way that made sense and tailored the lesson to where I was at rather than just going through a standard routine.
Even though the lesson was online, it felt personal, engaging, and very effective. I walked away feeling encouraged, more confident, and excited to keep practicing. You can tell he really knows his craft and cares about helping his students improve. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great guitar teacher!

Matt has been amazing this entire time he’s been training my daughter. I knew that my daughter had taught herself some guitar, but in order to really grow she needed a teacher. Matt came in and took her to another level for sure. It is amazing how much she has grown in just a few months. He sends her notes after every sessions for her to review and records her lessons so she can look back on them throughout the week. He is great working with your schedule and is worth every penny you will spend.
Details: 10 - 13 years old • No formal training; some self-taught experience • Yes, can read guitar tabs • Electric • Rock • Blues • Country • What the teacher recommends • Yes, the student has an instrument • 30 minutes • Remotely (phone or internet)

Matt has made my guitar experience incredible. He is not only so talented, but he is patient, adaptable, responsive, and enjoyable to speak to. I feel more inclined to practice because of how Matt treats our lessons. I couldn’t ask for a better instructor.
