FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $2 per notary act. The fee varies for mobile services, depending on how far I travel. I am available for house calls; the mobile cost for house calls is $48. If you are a repeat customer, you will get a $5 discount on the mobile services fee. Elopements and last-minute intimate ceremonies (just the couple) are available for discounted rates. Please note that you need to provide the location of your ceremony when asking for quotes. Pricing is subject to change if disclosure of location is not made until after booking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I require proper photo identification for acknowledgments (driver's license, passport, military ID, or other government-issued ID). I record all notary acts in a Notary journal. A wedding ceremony should be unique to the couple, so I will dialogue with them to see if there are any special themes or ideas they want to incorporate into their ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a licensed notary since 2010. I have worked in various roles that have required my notary services and I am comfortable with performing said services. I am NOT an attorney nor do I provide legal advice. I graduated with a Bachelor of Ministry degree from International Bible College and became a licensed minister in 2006. My credentials are through the Church of God. For Love & Money does not discriminate against anyone; however, my licensing does not allow me to officiate same-sex ceremonies.
