FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically price a photo session as a flat fee. No surprises. Weddings are also a fixed price, with an option to extend the time at an hourly rate, if needed. I price my work fairly to provide you quality images, that take into account the time of the session, plus the post-processing work to make it the finest image possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My service includes a session of professional photography, post-processing, Images, on-line album, and copyright release. Photography includes professional Canon cameras with professional lenses, and professional studio lighting. You will also have myself as your personal experienced photographer. I will work with you to provide the image you wish to project in your photographs. After the photo session, your images are converted from RAW format to standard jpeg images (post-processing). This includes color balancing, exposure adjustments, straitening, cropping, etc. to provide polished final images. Close up images will also be treated to minor cosmetic retouching to remove blemishes. Your images will be placed in an online album, where they will remain for 10 years. You are provide a custom link, that you may share the pictures, download full resolution files, and order prints. If you would like, tell me beforehand, and your gallery can have a password. You will be provided a copyright release, give you full rights to the images, to do as you please, including printing them at a location of your choosing (but you can still order them online from a professional printer and have them mailed to you). Your copyright release will be included as a file on an optical disc, with the full resolution image files from your session. I’d be happy to speak with you! I would like to go over the style you wish to set, and create images to satisfy your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 40 years of photography experience, and have been working professionally for the last 8. Formal high school classes, and then professional seminars and training.
