Marjorie is a true professional and a creative polymath. She can absolutely be a one-stop shop for design and artisanship; it is special to have someone who does both beautiful calligraphy and handlettering in a variety of styles, as well as illustration. She genuinely loves the process and is excited and particular about every client and material and will treat each project with professionalism, reverence, and the engaged, whimsical creativity her work easily displays at a glance. Her warm and friendly nature help a lot in reassuring any event-related worries and tackling any question or doubt that inevitably comes up in event-planning and decoration. My invitations& thank you cards were so me! Marjorie not only made them personal, but also so incredibly beautiful. I would say somewhere around 40%of the people who received them CALLED me to tell me how unique and wonderful they were! I mean, Almost half is huge. I loved them but to get that kind of response from the people invited just feels so good. I really appreciate Marjorie’s attention to detail and the simple yet streamlined way that she just captured my moment in an invite and a thank you card without being too over the top. I AM from New Orleans and wanted a NOLA theme. This is a theme that most people want to make trite & gaudy. Marjorie’s was simple and perfect.

Marjorie did the calligraphy for my wedding invitations and was a dream to work with. I knew I wanted calligraphy but didn’t know the first thing about what to ask for.
