I wholeheartedly recommend Alina's contract services for any freelancer / business owner who wants to be sure they are legally protected! I was impressed with how the contract Alina drafted for me wasn't only custom T&C's, but included a substantial, easy-to-understand Purchase Order section that will be super helpful to my clients AND customizable for any custom deals I might design for them. Working with Alina was unlike what I envisioned working with a lawyer would be like... in the best way possible! In all of our interactions, she was down-to-earth and helpful. She took care to customize my contract to suit my exact needs. She is a very clear authority and resource in her area of expertise. Last but not least: I appreciated her transparent pricing. I won't hesitate to reach out to her for my future contract needs.

I pulled Alina in to help draft a purchase agreement for one of my clients who was acquiring something that had special IT considerations. She produced an excellent trade secret acquisition agreement that covered all the bases my client needed! She is an absolute pleasure to collaborate with on top of being an excellent lawyer, I will continue to refer work to Alina and highly recommend her!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer 3 payment options: (1) Flat fees - You tell me exactly what you need and I quote you a price. You pay 50% up front and 50% when I send the final product. (2) Hourly rate - When it's hard to know how much work will be required or the work will take less than 2 hours then my pricing is usually billed at $40 per 6 minutes of my time. You must pre-purchase at least 1 hour of time with this option. Unused time will be refunded. (3) Monthly Subscription Fee starting at $500/mo for two 45 minute calls every month. If you need additional assistance with legal projects, I recommend starting with my $999/mo plan. This plan includes up to 3 hours of my time each month, which you can allocate to a custom project roadmap I create for you during your first month.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Step 1: schedule initial 15 minute call to discuss your needs, how I can help, and explain my pricing options. Step 2: I send my engagement letter (my contract) for you to sign on your phone or computer Step 3: I send you an invoice for the agreed upon amount Step 4: I send you a list of questions for you to complete about the work you need Step 5: I create the contracts and complete the legal research you requested and email it to you within about 5 business days Step 6: You review my work and send me your questions and comments Step 7: You schedule a follow up 15 min to 30 min call with me (depending on what's included in your package) Step 8: On the call, I explain the work I provided, answer your questions, and incorporate any additional comments Step 9: I send the final product and your final invoice.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
