After several frustrating months of attempting to resolve a pressing contractual matter unsuccessfully I finally decided to seek some legal advice and without hesitation I can say that I located exactly the right person for counsel. Megan took the time to listen to my concerns and issues and then asked the right questions and then summarized my issues to make sure she was clear on the facts as I had presented them. After confirmation, Megan provide several options for cure before presenting any legal retention fees for her firm. Her counsel was invaluable and because she took the time to really understand my issues, I felt much calmer and had a clearer path on the next steps. Bottom line, I highly recommend speaking with Megan as your first step regardless of your final decision. She is a no pressure advisor who provides sound advice not a sales pitch.

This is actually a long overdue review. I have worked with Meghan for a while and I always knew that she was a wonderful professional who cared about her clients, however after dealing with another attorney in a different area of law practice, I now have a proper comparison to make the following statement: Meghan Thomas is not only a wonderful professional, but she truly is a one of a kind Attorney. The attention and care she gives to each case is unbelievable. The problem that I have from working with her is that she was the first Attorney that I have worked with under my unique circumstances and therefore she established the bar for my expectations when dealing with law professionals. It is a bar I am realizing many other attorneys are not able to meet, leaving me very frustrated many a times. We have spoken to numerous lawyers about our contractor lien on our home. We even paid one. But Meghan helped me more in the first 30 minutes of our conversation than any of the lawyers we talked to or worked with. ALL the others lawyers were about money first and even after we paid they were not personable or very helpful. They also quoted 3 times the price of Meghan. She has been great so far and a breath of fresh air in this very stressful process.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We provide high quality services but at competitive rates. Most of our services can be provided at a flat rate. We generally use the flat rate method to meet our client's needs for financial planning and to set expectations early. This also enables our firm to dedicate the appropriate amount of resources to the fulfillment of your matter at inception. Additionally, it reduces the need for the excess paperwork associated with hourly billing.
All of our billing may be handled virtually. We accept debit card, credit card and checks through our payment system. We also have a PayPal account which allows financing and use other convenient payment processing systems (Zelle, CashApp, Venmo). Check payments incur no service fees but the average fee for other types of payments is 3%. Payment plans are available for certain matters and upon inquiry.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our office manager typically contacts a client within hours of inquiry to gather preliminary information. This will be followed by an intake interview with a partner of the firm. During intake the partner will assess the client's needs and determine whether our firm can provide assistance. The next step would be to handle the initial paperwork and finances which requires the client to review their engagement letter and pay for services or make a deposit into the firm's trust. Results are generally delivered in 1-2 weeks if not sooner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
AAS in legal studies, Bachelor's of Business Administration in business management and finance and a Doctor of Law in general legal studies with a focus on business and real estate law.
