FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer affordable flat fees for all traffic, criminal, and DUI cases. I also accept payment plans toward retainers over $1,000 which would typically apply to more serious misdemeanors (possession, theft), DUI cases, and felonies. I also offer 10% discounts for active Military. All major credit cards accepted as well as PayPal and Square.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free consultation over the phone or in person. This consultation will give the client an idea of what to expect on their case should they hire. Once the client makes the decision to move forward I will provide them with my service agreement (usually via email) and accept a retainer payment to secure my services. Once I have entered the case we will regularly communicate regarding the status of the case until it is resolved to our satisfaction. I give each client my direct number and email- they never speak to a secretary or paralegal about their case. I try to respond to all calls and emails within a business day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. I chose a private law school in Atlanta because AJMLS has a reputation of placing grads into a working atmosphere locally- whereas other schools in the State are focused on placing grads in more corporate positions in other states and larger cities. My goal was to remain local and submerge myself into the local judicial systems so that I could learn the Georgia Courts and familiarize myself with the way each courtroom is run. In addition, while I was still in undergraduate school I interned for a criminal defense investigator where I had the opportunity to assist with defense counsel to many notable, high profile criminal cases including murder, rape, sexual assault, aggravated assault and aggravated child molestation. I learned crucial defense strategies that are not taught in classrooms, giving me investigative skills no other attorneys have utilized after completing law school.
