Introduction: I have a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Performance from Kennesaw State University, an associates degree in music from Georgia Perimeter College, and graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music with honors. The best thing about my job is that I get to play guitar all day, and at the same time be able to enrich someone else's life by helping them to develop a skill on a musical instrument. Seeing the progress of my students is a wonderful thing. There is nothing like the face of a student accomplishing something that they never thought that they could accomplish. I am blessed to be a part of that.

Jim Sadler is a great man and great musician. He puts bands together of any size and he did this for our wedding. His recommendations were perfect. His music was the highlight of the night. He also arranged all wedding music for us for the ceremony itself and made sure everything went beautifully. Jim is also a fabulous writer and I am asking him to provide music for some of the CDs and DVDs of my lectures. Jim will do the arrangement for the theme song for my seminars too. He is brilliant, works with deadlines beautifully, has marvelous suggestions. I know Jim to be a superior guitar teacher too. He is professional and patient, funny, warm and personable, and absolutely inspiring in his love and appreciation of music. He knows so much, I learn a lot from him every time we talk. As far as the practicalities go, Jim goes above and beyond. Jim is always on time. The quality of his work is absolutely excellent. This is truly an unqualified endorsement of Jim Sadler. Not only is he brilliant professionally, but he is a dear man who cares about people, music and the relationship between people and music. Jim is a naturally gifted teacher and musician who is very patient, good natured and dedicated to the development of his students. As one of these students, my experience with him has been phenomenal. Beginning with an introduction to basic music skills and concepts, he has helped my understanding and appreciation of music evolve exponentially. Each lesson was packed with new information, delivered with enthusiasm and warmth. I was stretched beyond my comfort zone and amazed as my skill level and understanding of music theory grew. I am now doing things I never dreamed I could do! Jim strives to facilitate that "aha!" moment when the student really gets it, and the light goes on. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My life purpose is to continually better myself as a musician, which in turn betters my knowledge of the subject, which in turn betters my teaching ability.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music is my life. Guitar is my life. The decision naturally evolved from my love of the pursuit of musical education. I have been playing guitar since i can remember, it was a natural choice to help others achieve excellence in music.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A teacher that holds a degree in music is the most important thing when looking for a teacher. Otherwise you might be dealing with a player that has no idea how to step you through the process of learning an instrument effectively, with out teaching bad habits
