Molding or baseboards,
Mr. Lawrence and his team came out to address a mystery leak in my garage. The Lawrence team found the leak, replaced the faulty plumbing and repaired the sheetrock. Certainly recommend for your handyman needs.Aug 20, 2018Verified
Lawrence Handyman Service replaced a section of copper piping that had been damaged in a previous project. Will definitely add him to my list of contractors for future projects. Thanks Willie.Oct 15, 2017Verified
Lawrence Handyman Service did the prep work for my basement waterproofing. We had to coordinate with the waterproofers so the tenants would be inconvenienced as little as possible. Lawrence Handyman Service was very professional, responsive, understanding and accommodating to the situation. Thanks Willie.Oct 29, 2017Verified
I employed this Handyman to install 3 countertops. He cane to the job with inappropriate tools and ended up cutting a very uneven countertop. He then hurriedly dropped the countertop onto the cabinet and refused to do anything about the big space left between counter top and wall unless I paid more. Mind you, his price was already the highest quote I received but I decided to go with him anyway since he was referred by a friend. I would not encourage anyone to use this Handyman. He does not respond In a timely manner to messages, he’s a price gouged and he does not come to the just b with the appropriate tools. Very poor at responding to messages, pricing is very unreasonable.May 13, 2018VerifiedLawrence Interior Development's reply
Joseph D. hired me to install 3 countertops; when in fact he planned to watch me work on one countertop with the true intentions of completing the remainder of the work himself. He should have hired me to train him instead of requesting a handyman. Let me also state this property was in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Atlanta; which that alone was a liability for me and my employees. The said tool I was missing was a permanent marker to trace a hole for the sink; which I in fact found in my truck. Joseph D did not like the price I gave him because I would have to redo a lot of work he started but was not knowledgeable to complete the work. So this is what led to this horrible review. There were no tools missing, no shotty work; just someone with ill intentions who did not pay for work being completed.
Willie is a hard worker and really glad to have met him as a handyman but also as a friend. Willie was working on restoring my basement from water damage and he's always shown a dedication in making sure I am satisfied as a customer. Before he even talks business with me, Willie says good morning and asks how my day is or my weekend went - without fail. He has given his best professional advice, even at the extent of saving me money and giving him less work. He is trustworthy so I never once had to worry about leaving him in the house if I needed to run a quick errand. And most importantly, he did a great job fixing up my basement. I was particularly impressed with the tile work he did. I would definitely recommend Willie to others as his pricing is fair and how work is very impressive. I'll certainly keep him around in the future and actually have a few other projects I'll be calling on him for in the near future.Aug 15, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It all depends on job, some are hourly rates like flooring and general contracting, some are based on customer needs. I prefer to go over the details of the project to ensure that customers are getting the best and most accurate price. Having said that, don't hesitate to respond to me so that we can talk more about it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love to speak with the customer about the job, make sure we are clear on what needs to be done and also offer recommendations if needed. We will write up contracts for each client and their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been completing handyman projects for over 25 years. I love that I am able to master my skill and learn more with every job that I finish.
