Honey Bee is the right name for this amazing school because talent congregates there, works together and the outcome is just amazingly sweet. Erik and Elise, Honey Bee's owners, are amazing and accomplished musicians in their own right and, as such, they identify and bring out each child's individual talents and gifts. Talent is attracted to them because they do an amazing job bringing out the best in each of their students. Their students excel, both individually and as a group, because Erik and Elise have built much more than a music school. They've built a community that thrives on music and performing and a family that cherishes each of it's unique members and supports one another as everyone progresses, grows and blossoms. The proof is in the pudding (or the Honey, if you will). One only needs to look as far as the amazing group of artists that Honey Bee has already cultivated. Honey Bee is a school that has the caliber to develop true "professional grade" musicians and. If one has any doubt, one need only go as far as attending one of their performances!

I love HoneyBee Records!! My daughter has been taking lessons with Erik Bennett since she was eight and she is about to turn sixteen. She started taking lessons from Elise Bennett several years ago. Over the years, we have had so many wonderful experiences with recital performances, competitions, dinner theatres, studio recordings, and as a "music family". Erik has such creativity and vision and it shows through in everything he does. As business owners and teachers, Erik and Elise are both professional, extremely talented, and very hard working. They love their students and devote all of their talents and love of music into the growth of each student. Not only do they teach, they have a personal interest in the lives of each student. I cannot imagine what our daily lives would be like without Erik, Elise and the HoneyBee Family. Love you guys!!

"THANKFUL" is the word that comes to mind when I think of Eric & Elise from Honey Bee Records...our daughter became interested with singing at age of 5 but were not introduced to Honeybee until she was around 13 and now at the age of 16 she is blowing us away with her growth... Eric & Elise love what they do so they bring out the best in all their students...not only are they great teachers they are great friends and an important mentor in our daughters life...anyone with a child that enjoys singing or playing instruments should be apart of our Bee Hive!.. This is a very wise investment toward their career!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although we do have special packages for those interested in a more comprehensive course load, our basic preset prices for lessons/classes are as follows: 30 minute lesson (once per week) is $122/month Group Classes (once per week) are $50/month 60 minute lessons per week is $250/month 30 minute class weekly is just $50/month 45 minute class weekly is just $65/month *We offer a 10% discount for siblings
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our students teach us as much as we teach them! After 20 years, we've seen and heard just about everything and can "diagnose" most anything and fix it. We are always reading, always listening, and always learning.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Music is a purpose, not a choice. When it's the real thing, it grabs you and won't let go. Usually if someone is meant to be involved in music, they do not choose it - it chooses them. Teaching is much the same.
