Introduction: Hi, my name is Mimi Fontaine. I have studied Interior Design since I was 25 years old. I owned Desidario's Design, both design & consulting for over 20 years. It's my mission to exceed my client's expectations in their hopes for a designing, or remodeling their home. My prices are competitive. I am here to deal with each job individually, whether small, or large. My client's reaction to the transformation of their home, office, or yacht is my goal, Desidario's will bring comfort & beauty in thru our professional services and long experience. Your trust in us will provide design to its fullest, or we are happy to simply provide a consultation to get you started on turning your home or office into a place you've only dreamed of. Mimi is a pros pro who makes you feel at ease and gives her clients confidence to build their dream. She has a wealth of information and the ability to look at a place and see the potential. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge between $90 and $120 an hour. I have a 2 hour minimum on the 1st consult when the location is over 30 miles from Canton, GA.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet for our first consult to access how many areas/rooms of the home, what & if you are looking for a style change/a transformation. I want to know your main color and 2 base colors if painting or wall covering is required. I offer trips to America's Mart and ADAC. America's MArt has everything you can imagine. ADAC also carries much, but I generally lean to their fabrics. Trips to either are on Wednesday or Thursday's, taking into consideration of shows, holidays, etc. Trips are 9:15am, arriving @the Mart around 10, and leaving at 2:30-3pm, in consideration of traffic. It's a wonderful time!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught designer. My photos showing my many projects and many publications, both national & all around Atlanta have been my education. ASID in Atlanta offered and honorary mention due to all my publications. The Villa Casa Home in the Estates brought an invitation from Atlanta Home & Lifestyles and House Beautiful, tho' the Villa had been sold a month earlier. I have owned my own design store, Desidario's Design & Fine Gifts, and moved down to a Studio later.
