BRACKETT & CO. RESTORATIONS
About this pro
I absolutely LOVED the work that Josh performed on my wooden dresser. My dresser was originally an old white wooden piece of furniture that offered nothing. It was scratched and just unappealing. I really wanted my dresser to have a sleek black finish. I asked Josh to paint my dresser black with high gloss. He did a phenomenal job. I can barely tell it is the same dresser. He was also able to properly paint the laminate top. Another added bonus is that Josh will pick up and deliver your furniture. Definitely a huge help for me since I dont have a truck or big enough vehicle. Thanks Josh! I will definitely be using your services again.Jul 22, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our clients are individuals with specific requests often needing services for their very unique items or treasures. Respectfully our pricing is normally tailored to our clients, their needs, and their unique artifacts. To begin a dialogue regarding the restoration process and their associated expenditures the very first thing we always need is information and photographs. Lots of information regarding the item, history, issues, & objectives. Several photos that will give us a visual understanding of the item, overview images as well as close ups demonstrating the issues to contend with. You are an individual with a unique artifact needing custom attention. Stock pricing would be asking you to fit into a preset which would be disrespectful of you and your items. We routinely find we are one of the if not the most affordable option for our clients and their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Brackett & Co. is constantly researching both historic and modern techniques and developments in the multi-disciplinary restoration and conservation fields. We are routinely involved in continuing education programs. Our most recent studies include advancements through Harvard University and The University of Edinburgh.
