FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I have never gone a year in the 34 years of working without staying current on the latest development in my field of work. I am currently in my senior year of undergraduate in Psychology and Life Coaching at Liberty University.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love being a part of a personal and community empowerment process. I start through leadership, organizing, and training through community development and social justice work. I notice that although we had progress somewhat in changing organizations and systems through community organizing and social justice movements, as leaders we got so caught up in the movements, we begin to lose the personal connection to those who foundation our work. Many of us begin to bargain out our spiritual values and principles out of our work. I wanted to build on my years of social justice work by reclaiming the home and heart of my divine purpose by supporting those we have disconnected from reclaim theirs.
