Introduction: I have had a great education and ample training in music, but I'm not stodgy! Many of my musical counterparts are stuck only teaching classical music. While I choose to sing classical music, I know that people have varied interests in music. I'm happy to teach any genre and have experience in most! I love making individualized lessons for each student. No two students are the same, so I won't run my lessons the same! It's fun to mix things up and to really find something that clicks with the student so they can reach their maximum potential!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), which provides conferences, journals, webinars, and more to keep teachers up-to-date on techniques and research.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love music! It's something my family did and I loved being involved in high school. When I got to college, I knew music was something that would make me happy for the rest of my life! Now it's fun to pass that love on to my students.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have had multiple students prepare and get into All State Choir, which is not an easy feat!
