This guy is what is what is wrong with the current climate. I told this guy that I had a bad flooring job and I needed to pay a professional to get it done right. I even sent him pictures of the bad job and he said he could help. He stated he would have to redo the job and I agreed. I just wanted to take care of my tenants at this point. We planned to meet at 2:30 on Sunday so he could get a look in person. I live about 45 mins away and had to cancel a couple of real estate appointments to make the trip. I went to my property got there about 15 mins early so I could spend some time talking to my tenants. I saw a truck ride by and thought it was him. I tried to call him 3 times and he didn’t answer. He finally texted me and said
“I’m going to have too pass on this opportunity and that I wouldn’t have liked the price.” I’m thinking wow this guy judged me with out even stepping out of his truck. He didn’t even have the decency to answer my call. He does have the right to turn down a job but after you have someone meet you at a property you should have the decency to at least stop and have a conversation. This is the kind of thinking that is harmful for all Americans. I would like to give him some insight on me and my business that will help him know the type of opportunity he really passed up. I have purchased 12 properties in the last 12 months. I currently have 28 properties in my inventory. My business brings in well in the 6 figures yearly, but he doesn’t know that. He didn’t want to know that he just judged me, the neighborhood and he was bias. I am stressing that we can not do business with people like him. Just because he has 5 stars that does not make him a good person and this guy is not good. I wonder how this platform feels about my experience? I wonder if they are fine with his actions??
