Introduction: I am a wife, mother, organizational coach, business owner, friend, and many other roles in my life. I believe what makes me stand out is the ability to take all of my experiences, and draw upon them to connect, whole heatedly, with my clients, while still giving them the space to be exactly who they are while working toward who they want to be. Coaching can be difficult work. We want to guide others into a particular direction, based on our own biases, when what our clients need is our full attention, our presence, and our hearts. Have you ever felt, when talking to someone, that they weren't really hearing what you were saying? That they were ready to respond before you even finished your thought? As a coach, we work hard to ensure that you, the client, is being heard... not only your words, but what you aren't saying. Although challenging, it is also profoundly rewarding, when you know your clients feel cared for. That is when the transformation begins. When a person feels heard, understood, and cared for, there is no limit to power the relationship can have on the outcomes. I have worked as a coach for nearly a decade, and I love it more and more each day. But, enough about me, I want to hear about you and your dreams! It is difficult to narrow down what I love most about my job. There is very little that I do not love. My most rewarding moments are when my client(s) experience and "Ah-ha" moment after hard work and dedication in getting to know who they are deep down. When my client(s) experience that moment of liberation and freedom from the invisible chains they wear, the possibilities are limitless. It truly is an extraordinary moment. Coaching should not only take dedication, it should be FUN and self actualizing. I truly believe that through fun exercises, we get to enjoy both the experience and the outcome.

Angie is a superb listener and responds with thoughtful questions. Her gift is to lead people to discovery, rather than tell people what to do. She is patient, and does not rush people to form opinions. If she sees others go off track, rather than tell them to course correct, she will ask probing questions to guide people to a more positive direction that they can own. She is kind, welcoming and upbeat, so people want to work with her! She provides positive feedback effectively. In summary, I’m confident that Angie will lead people to positive change, whether in their personal lives or careers.

Angie has an amazing ability to coach people and ask the right questions to almost make you uncover facts that answer your own questions. She is warm and very empathetic yet direct. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been coaching organizations and individuals for over a decade. I have coached over 100 teams in large organizations through organizational change, team change, and personal growth. I am a certified Executive and Life coach through the World Coaching Institute, as well as a Certified Agile Coaching Professional through ICAgile. I have served as an Agile Coach for several years, in which the focus is on continuous improvement and constant change, as well as many leadership roles. I am currently working on finishing research for a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and Development, with an emphasis on Coaching. I have designed and delivered many coaching workshops and training to individuals who are seeking to advance their career in the area of coaching and leadership. I have also spent a great deal of time in the field of addiction coaching, and love this area whole heatedly.

Spend your consultation time getting to know your coach, and ensuring that your coach is doing all that he or she can to get to know you in that time. You will often “feel” a connection and have a moment of “this person really understands and can really support me”. If you feel at the end of your time that you are the pilot in your journey and you can trust your coach to be your trusted co-pilot, then you have a great chance at success. Always reflect after your sessions to ensure that the coaching relationship is adding value to your life.
