I bring over twenty years experience as a litigator of a wide variety of contract and family law disputes. I have been told repeatedly throughout my many years as an attorney that my clients appreciate my honesty, even when it may be something they do not want to hear. Even though I am being paid to provide a service, it is important to me that the client knows the job will be done well and ethically.
My favorite part of being an attorney is the opportunity I get to help people. I relish the opportunity to take something that might seem convoluted and bafflingly complex and explain it in such a way my clients do not feel I am talking down to them or being condescending. I want my clients to feel that we are working together towards a common goal.

I hired Mark to review a prenup that my fiancee's attorney put together -- nothing too extensive, but I wanted counsel to make sure I didn't miss anything. I don't know any family law attorneys in Atlanta, so after doing some Google searching and speaking to ones referred to me, I posted to Thumbtack. Mark reached out to me, outlined his rate structure (which is extremely reasonable, especially in comparison to what others quoted me) and we easily set up a meeting, in which he came to me at my office building. After a brief in-person intro, Mark began reviewing the document and explained each section to me to make sure I understood the language. He offered a handful of suggestions, which my fiancee's attorney has incorporated into the prenup. Working with Mark was very simple and affordable; I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him again for counsel.

Pre-nuptial Agreement Drafting and Notarizing:
I retained Mark to help me draft a pre-nuptial agreement between me and my fiancé prior to our wedding. He took the rough estimates I had of each of our assets, and how I believed things should be divided in the event of divorce and drafted a pre-nuptial agreement according to Georgia policies. Mark went over the document in detail with me, making sure to use minimal legalese, and explaining every paragraph to me. My fiancé and I had sufficient time to review and update the document and fill out the financial affidavits Mark provided. We were then both able to sign and have Mark notarize the document at his office. As with any legal matter, contacting your attorney early and being clear with the dates you need service before hiring them is always a good idea as this process took a couple of months to complete. Overall, I’m very pleased with Mark’s service and I would definitely recommend him for his family law services.
