FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No complicated pricing. Depending on what you want done, I figure how long it will take me on a monthly basis and price it accordingly. I try to be fair with my pricing as I am not one to try and take advantage of people. I do not like to price my work hourly as some people may drag out the work in order to obtain more money. By setting a fixed fee, there is no worries of being taken advantage of. If it takes me longer than I have anticipated, then it is my loss and I gain insight for better pricing on the next project that may be similar. I prefer for a potential client to call me so we can discuss his/her needs in greater detail. This way I can learn about their company, the industry they are in, their specific needs and wants and expected budget pricing. In turn, they can further learn about me, my accounting background, what I can do for them, and then be able to give them pricing for the work that will need to be completed. All pricing is negotiable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently working on my certification.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my accounting career at the young age of 10. My father opened a wholesale business in ceramics. We obtains hundreds of molds to pour and kept records on paper ledgers so we would be able to show when each mold was paid for and began making profits. My mother did the accounting and started teaching me as a good trade for when I got older. Since then accounting has been in my blood.
