- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters. When my mom and dad got divorced, she worked, my oldest sister went to college, my oldest brother worked and I cooked for my younger siblings. As an adult with kids of my own, I needed a way to earn extra cash, so I started selling, hot wings, fish, chicken tender plates out of my home. I really enjoyed it and my customers always came back and told me how good everything was, and it just made me feel so good serving them.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The family reunion I did in July 2014. For some reason they could not get the banquet hall they had requested, so I ended up frying the fish and shimp creole in the parking lot. Everyone was so happy and thanked me for having the proper equipment to cook and feed them.
