I hired James to do some work in one of my rental properties and the in home painting took 3 weeks and he still did not complete the job. He had a couple living in my home for 3 weeks with little to no work being done. I ended up having to buy supplies out of my pocket. He kept asking me to pay him before the work was complete. I ended up firing him with the work not being complete and lost money in the process. He still owes me money for incorrect work that was done in my home. He refuses to give me a receipt for the total amount that was paid to him. This all occurred in September 2013. Don't pay him any money up front if you hire him to do work. Assure that all of the work is complete before you pay him anything.

I hired James Patterson to do some updating and remodeling in my kitchen. I was very pleased with his professionalism and the great job he did. I continuously get compliments on the see-through window he created between my kitchen and dining room. His prices were very reasonable. I would recommend JHI Construction to anyone needing remodeling work done and plan to hire them again for other services around my home.

JHI Construction & Designs recently replaced windows ,installed gutters, replaced bad shower valves and also installed some well needed lighting around my home. I am very pleased with the finished product and I'm now looking forward to doing more business with JHI ....nice to find someone as knowledgeable and great at their craft,with reasonable prices!!.. keep up the great work JHI

These Guys Were GREAT! They came out talked us thru the job, and worked with us on getting the wood flooring done. With the new floors we will NEVER have to them done again! (at least for 20 years!) Very knowledgeable and welcome inputs from customer. Great Crew! Great Job!They had a whole team come out to do the work. It was done very well and met or exceeded all of our expectations. he explained everything to us - they really knew what they were doing, and made us a really fantastic deal to get the job done - right on target with what we hoped to pay.
