When you bid on job you should be able to complete it from start to finish and not make homeowner go around and shop for basic supplies necessary to complete project I understand let’s say you buy lights etc but if your in trades you should have junction boxes, conduit, wire byte, tape, etc It’s like a plumber that has no supplies like pvc glue etc or a landscaper that has no tools and can’t complete job if you don’t go buy shovel for him Freddie is a nice man but at end of day I would suggest finding an electrician that actually has basic supplies to complete work and not tell homeowner you have to buy all the supplies when you have no idea what you need or may need

I apologize I had no idea that you preferred that I obtain the materials for the project. Based off conversation I was left with the impression that you preferred to get the materials yourself being the it was the most cost efficient method. Typically I gather the necessary materials for project unless it's preferred otherwise by the customer. I am willing to offer a discounted rate in addition to obtaining the materials with no additional cost for the miscommunication.
