I teach music theory and how to play by ear, in addition to teaching my students to read music. Most teachers only teach their students how to read music and work through a book with them. Learning to read music is pretty much all that kids in school band get, too. It is much more valuable to be able to play by ear, and understand how music works, than just being able to play what is printed on a page.

Chris is the best guitar teacher I've ever had! He's been great about helping me acheive the goals I had of playing lead guitar at my church, and now I play every Sunday. He's also been able to help me understand the guitar and to read music which is very beneficial when playing with other people. I highly recommend!
