Introduction: I'm a commercial HVAC tech during the day, but after work, I enjoy rebuilding and restoring lamps. These days it's hard to find someone to work on your lamps and light fixtures. Many people get tired of something, so they throw it in the attic, sell it on craigslist, donate or just trash it. Because of this, the people that perform this type of work have all but disappeared. So where do you take those fixtures that you just love, has sentimental value or picked up at the flea market, but you don't trust it enough to leave it plugged in unattended? Whether it just needs a new switch or a complete overhaul, I will be happy to give that lamp or chandelier a new life.
