Introduction: Live music always seems to enhance the atmosphere or environment an individual is in and current scientific research has shown it can create a much more memorable experience. Whether I'm playing cover songs or my original sets, being able to express myself through writing, recording, and performing live music produces a powerful euphoric feeling I couldn't possibly live without. If I had to say there was one significant thing that separates me from others in my field, I feel it would have to be my guitar playing. With over 30 years of experience in the field, I have discovered and welcomed a very intricate finger-picking style that probably sticks out the most. I do what I love! Lucky for me, people love what I do. I am a live performing musician but also enjoy helping others learn music as well. Jeff was a perfect choice for our event. He was on time, very professional, and is an extremely talented artist. This was an outdoor event, and possibly the hottest day of the year and he still shined. Thank you, Jeff. Your music made our garden party one to always remember. Hired Jeffery to play music at a business cocktail/networking reception to cap a long day at a conference. I asked him to play casual, relaxed tunes, and he delivered. Not only did he arrive with plenty of time to set up, but he also had all of his own equipment, including a speaker that was a perfect size for the room/venue of the event. With a scheduled playing time of 5:45 to 7:30, he was happy to play a few minutes after the 7:30 time and offered to begin play before 5:45. A week before the gig, I asked him to learn one of my favorite songs to play at the event, and sure enough, without telling me he had learned it, he started playing it in the middle of his set. In short, he was willing to go with whatever made the event a success and he was a key part of making our business (who sponsored the event) shine during the reception. Huge thanks to Jeffery and I will keep him at the top of my list for future events.

We hired Jeff for an outdoor pool party, Summerfest 2019, at my home. Jeff was awesome! Great person to work with. Was very professional, extremely talented, and was a big hit at our party. I had many people pull me aside and comment on how great he sounded. Will definitely look to hire him again for Summerfest 2020!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Its a flat rate per job. The price includes everything (loading/ unloading time, set up/break down time, travel, length of gig, all equipment, etc).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is straight-forward. However, I do like to make sure that I am a good fit for what the customer wants. For example, if my area of experitse is in classic rock/ easy listening music, I would not be a good fit for Country or R&B music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a BS in biological science, I know completely irrelevant to what I do now. I feel having that solid foundation under me had helped me think outside the box and do things differently. For example, when I teach guitar I look for any new innovative ways that are shown to help a student by engaging them in better learning environments and rewarding processes.
