Introduction: I am a proficient writer and proofreader. I am also a published author of a nonfiction book. See my website. I have a BA in English and Comparative Literature. I graduated with honors (cum laude) from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. My specific expertise is in books, legal documents (pleadings, agreements, etc.), dissertations, compositions, essays, resumes, etc. In the proofreading process, in addition to reformatting where necessary, I will oftentimes rewrite or offer alternative language or phraseology for clarity inside margins of books or documents. I have a proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher. I have over 21 years in the legal profession as a legal assistant for some of the top law firms in Atlanta (McKenna Long & Aldridge, Jones Day, and Alston & Byrd) and New York -- White & Case.
