- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for online (Skype or FaceTime) lessons and a multi lesson discounts!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, we start our lesson by just talking to each other. It’s important that you feel comfortable singing, since singing in front of someone is not easy! Then we talk about the physiology of the voice, how and why does it work? Then we will sing! Lessons usually start with a warm up, that is where we “stretch” our voices and learn a “vocal technique”, after about half a lesson we sing! When we sing we work on everything from technical skill to the actual performing aspect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in music from Sarah Lawrence and extensive training as an opera singer. I have been taught to teach by renown teacher Badiene Magaziner, and have been refining that skill for several years now.
