About
To me, accounting can be viewed like a puzzle with each transaction being a piece in that puzzle. Placing each “piece” in the correct spot enables you to see your business’ clear financial “picture.” The most satisfying part of my job is knowing that I help give my clients that clear picture by ensuring the right information is in the right place.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is actually very straight forward. For on-going bookkeeping service, my rate is $35/hr. For one-time projects such as setting up a QuickBooks file or data clean-up, my rate is $50/hr.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire someone who is excited about your line of work and who will give you straight answers about any issues. Understand that even a highly skilled bookkeeper will not be able to answer questions that should really be directed to your CPA. Be wary of hiring a bookkeeper claiming to be a “CPA on the cheap”.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

A great bookkeeper does more than just enter data. They help you to see the message in your financial reports, they suggest process improvements, and they make sure that your accounting software is set up correctly so that it gives you the level of detailed information you need to run your business.
