I have been producing The Six String Social Club Concert Series for over 13 years. My cadre of performers includes some of the best internationally touring guitarists, including Laurence Juber, Frank Vignola, Ed Gerhard, Muriel Anderson, Jimmy Bruno, Pete Huttlinger, and many others. Bob Bakert has also performed on my stage on many occasions. He is the consummate professional. In addition to being a fine musician, he knows the difference between being a musician and being an entertainer. Bobs makes the effort to put together a well thought out show for the specific night's audience. He has the musical range to deliver everything from folk, to rock, to jazz. He also knows how to surround himself with other talented musicians, so that when you hire Bob, you always get more that 100%. He also knows that he shares some of the responsibility for bringing the audience. He puts a genuine effort into putting butts in seats. It does not hurt that once a month he hosts the always sold out Hungry Ear Coffee House in Sandy Springs. He is comfortable in front of an audience and knows how to get keep them coming back month after month.

Bob has been a consistent and valued performer at Lena's Place Coffeehouse over the several years I have been music and production coordinator. First, like other Lena's Place performers, Bob performs for us out of the goodness of his heart and donates his performances, because Lena's funds local charities in the Atlanta area, and the door donations fund the good works of those local charitable organizations. Second, because Bob often plays with a full band, he pays his own musicians to accompany him at Lena's, and third, because Bob and his band members are some of the best professional musicians in the area, the audience is treated to some of the best performances every time Bob plays. His repertoire is amazing, he is a super communicator and very easy to work with, and a joy to host and mix sound for. We are delighted to see him on our bills several times a year. I recommend him highly!

Bob Bakert has been our wonderful producer, director and performer at our NWUUC Hungry Ear Coffee House in Atlanta GA for over 3 years. He has also provided us with his sound equipment expertise which which is immense and very important in overhauling our sound system. He is a talented performer, singer and songwriter with acoustic guitar, and now very expert in jazz guitar. He also has consistently brought expert and talented performers to the production. We know from other performers that he is always with a ready hand to assist them and the whole production wherever he is.
