- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a competitive gymnast when I was in middle school, got my black belt in tae kwon do right after high school, and started training in ballet and modern dance after that. I've been around the fitness industry for a long time and have always given exercise and nutrition advice to people around me. I decided to do this professionally after I dropped my pregnancy weight successfully after changing my workouts to reflect the latest trials and research. Seeing folks remain unhealthy even while being gym members, endlessly walking or running on the treadmill, makes me upset that so much wrong information is still being taught and followed. I want to bring right information so that people become healthy and remain healthy.

That you don't have to spend an hour in the gym, slogging away on the treadmill or kill yourself in the spin classes. It's not about how long you workout. It's about how smart you workout.
