I had an amazing experience with Anna Karen! She was very prompt and had everything set up in a very organized fashion. She listened to what I liked and then showed me some colors that she thought would look good with my skin tone. She has all the high end makeup you would find at Sephora or Nordstrom! Amazing work!!!

Anna is amazing! She made me feel beautiful for my maternity photoshoot and recently came to my home to teach me how to do certain make-up techniques. She evaluated my skin type to help recommend products that I can incorporate into my everyday make-up routine. I definitely recommend Anna for anyone looking for either a make-up artist for a special event or for a teaching session to help improve everyday makeup techniques!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out what kind of event the client needs me for, as well as general ideas of the kind of look the client is trying to achieve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed cosmetologist. I started out as a hair stylist and have since transitioned to a full time makeup artist and hair stylist.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been interested in makeup, and would often do my friends hair and makeup for events, and decided to pursue it as a career. I first started off as a hair stylist, and have since transitioned into makeup artistry full time and as a hair stylist part time.
