Melody, help me with my bedroom, she did faux paint and also did an excellent job on the tile she installed. She did a perfect job plastering walls and painting rooms in my office and she . also did more tile work. I have seen several jobs she has done for my friends. All her work is first class. She has an excellent eyes for color and design. I highly recommend her for any job. She has the ability to just look at a room and make it over perfectly. She is the best. She has done work for me and I highly recommend her. She's great!!

Melody is my decorating Guru. She has a photographic memory with colors. She can walk in a room and blurt out 20 ideas for walls, furniture, floors etc.; while always keeping your taste in mind. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is consistent with the degree of difficulty and number of coats required. I have a base price per linear foot, for an eight foot wall, less openings. Higher walls, additional coats, etc. are additional.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I get the latest finishing ideas from the paint companies and stay in touch with my Mentor for any hot trends.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved painting. I've always done my own walls. I learned faux finishing through Home Depot classes and experimented at home. When a Design Client wanted a finish, I would jump at the chance to do it myself. This earned me more faux finish referrals than I ever got for just the design consulting. It just gradually evolved into doing more painting than design, and I'm happy with that.
