FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Hailing from Monroe, Louisiana, my initial interest in photography came from watching the Marlboro Cigarette Commercials as a kid. The commercials showed a photographer standing on the skids of a helicopter, photographing a stampeding herd of horses.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've held the position of Medical Photographer at two of the finest teaching Hospitals in Atlanta, where oddly enough, I got to shoot from helicopters. My other duties included shooting for the company magazine, head shots, events on and off campus, and surgical procedures. Along the way, I became a skilled catalog photographer, shooting room sets, furniture and small products. I've also done Editorial (magazine) photography, another avenue for variety, when it comes to subject matter, location, and lighting situations. Willie T. Jacobs
