How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed writing. I won awards in grade school for essays. In high school, I worked on the school paper, and won awards for my work. I can't remember a time when I didn't want to be a writer (with all apologies to John-Boy Walton) or play the guitar. I am blessed I have been able to do both.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I can write essays, features, news/informative stories, simple technical, instructions, and commercial copy for broadcast.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It often isn't as easy at it may appear to tap on a keyboard and come up with an award-winning piece. It often takes hours - weeks of research, planning, and care.
