Craftsman / Farmhouse,
Rustic / Southwestern,
Sara has been a joy to work with so far. Our design journey is just starting since this is our first house. Sara came over on the first visit and spent hours with us just getting to know my wife and I. Speaking with an interior designer felt scary and intimidating, but Sara made us feel comfortable and confident that we can get our house looking amazing within our means. Can't wait to see what the future holds!Dec 27, 2018VerifiedHeritage Interiors's reply
So excited to share in the design work for your beautiful new home! Together we can make it reflect your personal tastes. It is going to be fun and I have found so many great suggestions to share with you next week. Looking forward to our next meeting! Thanks, Sara
I am so glad my husband suggested Sara help with our living room. She was wonderful: listened to my concerns, asked ?'s on the use of the room and offered several possibilities. We looked at choices, Sara discussed design ideas, we picked out items on-line and TA-DAH! The room is done and beautiful. I was worried about picking out some things on-line but there really weren't bad choice combinations; she will work with your colors, budget etc. I will be using Heritage Interiors again.Jul 10, 2019Heritage Interiors's reply
Great fun transforming your living :-) Thanks for your trust Susan as we created your beautiful room together.
We completed Phase 1 of our interior decorating / rearranging with Sara’s assistance last month. Our project was rather small with the purchase of a foyer table, a buffet table, a few pieces of artwork and pendant lights for over our kitchen island. She met with my husband and me to get a sense of our style and needs, then returned with a visual presentation of her suggestions with several options. My husband and I, like most couples, often have differing views on what we “think” will look best, which is why we reached out for help. The options Sara presented addressed both of of our styles and we were able to make our selections far sooner and with greater ease than we imagined possible! From the very beginning, Sarah was responsive and readily accessible for questions or concerns. She actually responded to my initial inquiry while on vacation with her family. Only after a few meetings, we had our selections, and within a short time later, our purchases were being delivered. Her crew arrived for the install and the process was handled professionally and efficiently. We were very pleased with both the quality and pricing for each piece. We had our pendant lights installed just this week after several delays from a handyman (not selected by Sara). Her suggestion for these lights was spot on! They DO make a statement! The pop of color is exactly what we need for our white cabinetry, grey subway tile backsplash and white and grey quartz countertops. The colors blend well with our existing rug, color scheme and the artwork Sara helped us select to tie our kitchen area to the great room. Visitors over the recent holiday continuously commented how perfect the lights match both our space and our style. Sara was always respectful of our likes and dislikes and never tried to push us toward the options she had “available.” Having worked with several designers in the recent past, this was a different and welcomed approach for us! She was helpful in staying within a comfortable range for our budget, which especially set her apart for our previous experiences. As the entire process went smoothly and remained affordable, we enjoyed working with her from planning to installation. We’re looking forward to Sara’s help with our design needs for Phase 2 in the near future.Nov 30, 2019
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Sara! I know nothing about interior design (or even what styles I like), but Sara made the process easy and enjoyable. When we first meet, Sara showed me pictures of different pieces and designs and asked me which ones I liked. Based on what I said I liked, Sarah put together various options for the different areas in my one-bedroom condo, and we met several times to review the options (and additional options based on my feedback). During this process, Sara was very patient and extremely helpful in explaining where pieces would fit and what items would go well together. Based on Sara’s invaluable input, I selected the pieces I wanted and the final layout. After that, Sara handled the entire delivery and set-up process and made it completely painless—I didn’t even have to be there. On the delivery date, I left for work with my condo full of boxes, stacks of books, unhung pictures, and random pieces of furniture that weren’t being used, and I came home to a completely clean, well-organized, and beautifully redecorated condo. I was excited about the pieces I had selected, but I never could have imagined how good everything would look together in person. I love all of my new furniture and artwork and the way everything is laid out, and everyone that has seen my redecorated condo has commented on how good it looks. I am so grateful for Sara’s help and expert guidance, and I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for an interior designer!Sep 6, 2019Heritage Interiors's reply
Thanks so much for trusting me and my team to transform your downtown condo. It is definitely a team effort. The view of the City of Atlanta from your condo on the 32nd floor is unbelievable! What a perfect backdrop for all your new beautiful furnishings. It was such a delight to work with you Cada.....
This is our first experience working with an interior designer. My husband and I decided to look for help because we didn't have enough time to look for furniture and decor items. It is overwhelming the number of decisions we take during a work day, and it was so hard for us to decide what to buy for our new home. We were also worried about buying something that later will not flow with the rest of the house. Sara's expertise came to release our minds. For the first visit, Sara came to our home and we discussed what we like, our lifestyle, which rooms were a priority, etc. She took measurements of each room and we discussed more ideas. Later, she sent us a proposal for each room. We selected our favorites and we also looked for new options in case we couldn't find any among her selection. We placed our first order (phase 1/priorities). It took 5 weeks for the furniture to be delivered. Sara came the day that the furniture was delivered and made sure things were correct. My husband and I look forward to placing our second order shortly.Jun 30, 2019Heritage Interiors's reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Either hourly at $75 per hour or by the project. $75 for the first visit covers the initial consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It starts with the initial phone call to understand what the clients' needs are. Before our first design call I have the client pull any photos or images of styles that they like from magazines, Pinterest, blogs...etc. At the first appointment, we discuss the project in detail or in the case of a simple consultation, set the scope of the work. It is important that the client understands the fee structure, either by the hour or by the scope of the project, so there are no surprise and no stress. From that point forward, I am the clients advocate from a design standpoint. We lay out the time-lines and any budgetary constraints. Then, i go to work, using the extensive supplier resources I have been able to develop over the past two decades. My client is involved in every step of the way...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?By owning my own store for 15 years I have attended many High Point Furniture Market design training seminars. I also took the most valuable classes at the Art Institute of Atlanta and was an Associate ASID member.
