FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When discussing pricing, it’s important to frame it around value, not just cost, so customers understand why the price is justified and what they’ll gain. I do offer yearly minis as well for a budget friendly option!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new customer at Ruby and Me Photography likely involves a structured process from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring a personalized and professional experience. Initial Contact and Inquiry Most photography businesses begin with the customer reaching out via email, phone, social media, or a website contact form. During this stage, the studio collects basic information about the client’s needs, such as type of session (portrait, family, event), preferred dates, and budget. Consultation and Planning After initial contact, the studio usually schedules a consultation, either in person or virtually. This allows the photographer to understand the client’s vision, style preferences, and expectations. Topics discussed may include: Session location and duration Outfit, props, or themes Desired photography style (posed, candid, lifestyle) Package options and pricing The consultation helps the studio create a customized plan tailored to the client’s needs. Booking and Agreement Once the client agrees to proceed, the studio typically provides a contract and deposit to secure the booking. The agreement outlines the session details, pricing, cancellation policies, and usage rights for the images. Pre-Session Preparation Before the photography session, the studio may provide guidance tips to the client on preparation, such as: Wardrobe recommendations Hair and makeup tips Timing for best light or location-specific considerations This ensures the client is ready and comfortable, maximizing the quality of the session. Photography Session During the session, the photographer guides the client through poses, captures candid moments, and ensures a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Their goal is to deliver high-quality images that reflect the client’s vision.
