FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a service call fee that covers diagnostics, time on site, and scheduling. For Thumbtack bookings only, the service call is credited toward labor if you move forward with the repair. Parts must be approved and paid for before ordering. Larger jobs require a deposit to secure scheduling. I provide clear, upfront pricing before any work proceeds.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by reviewing the details of the request and confirming scope, availability, and pricing expectations. Once scheduled, I diagnose the issue on site and provide a clear quote before any work begins. If parts are needed, they must be approved and paid for prior to ordering. Communication is straightforward, and no work proceeds without customer approval.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in HVAC and building maintenance, with hands-on experience from military service and apartment maintenance work. I hold EPA 608 certifications (Type I and Type II) and OSHA 10 training. My experience includes appliance repair and installation, plumbing and electrical diagnostics, drywall repair, and interior maintenance work
