Estimates are provided based on complexity of photography and amount of products photographed in one day. Day rates or per item pricing is offered.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in commercial photography and I have been in business for over 12 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began college to become a psychologist. Three years into the program, I could not see myself pursuing it any further. My heart was in photography. I found a school who specialized in commercial photography, Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, and started another degree program. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in commercial photography. I moved back to Atlanta and assisted an amazing photographer who furthered my photography education. I started work in the RR Donnelley photography studio and eventually became lead photographer and studio manager. After years of work for RR Donnelley, I decided to open my own studio. I am so happy and proud of where I am and I truly believe that I made the right decision to pursue a career that I absolute love.
