I was very thorough and got 7 estimates for a yard renovation. Not only was Marco the most economical, he also was the only one who was confident he could fix my drainage/erosion issues - and he guaranteed his work. Some estimates even TRIPLED his! One thing that really impressed me was that I wanted a pop-up to be positioned near the street. To make this happen, it required his company to tunnel underneath a fence AND a sidewalk that was full of very large rocks and boulders. Anyone else would have charged extra for this or said it was impossible. They got it done for the promised price! He is honest and hardworking and makes it his job to make you happy. I have already recommended him to my neighbor and they used him and are happy. I'm also working on my other neighbor to use him as well. Would recommend everyone use him. Thanks Marco for a job well done!

I cannot speak highly enough about Marco Bolanos and Flourish Landscaping. My husband and I have been putting off dealing with our overgrown backyard because we were overwhelmed by it. Marco came to look only at our front flower bed, but we pulled him around back to get his take on how we could (affordably!) improve our jungle of a backyard. Marco was so knowledgeable about what changes to make, what sorts of plants would do best, which bushes were worth transplanting and relocating, etc. He was there on time and finished the job quickly, leaving everything neat and clean and looking fantastic. He even did a few extra things at no additional charge. I would recommend Marco and his crew in a heartbeat and plan on using him again when we resod our front lawn. Thanks so much, Marco!

Marco Bolanos was quick to respond to my request for an onsite inspection and quote for sod installation. I mention this because so many other landscaping companies took days and weeks to respond to my request. I was provided a competitive quote for the sod installation which was detailed with a complete breakdown of cost. Out of several quotes I selected Marco not because he was cheaper than the competition but due to his knowledge and experience in the industry. He was one of the few who provided very specific recommendations on which sod to install and the required method of installation.
I recommend Marco Bolanos landscaping services as he purchases high grade sod and provides a six month guarantee on his installation. My sod was installed with his personal oversight and done professionally.

I hired Marco Bolanos to do some landscaping work at my daughter's home in Glenwood Park. The reason I hired him was because his bid for the job was approximately one-third the amount of the bid I got from another landscaper and because he seemed very knowledgeable and honest. Also because he could do the job as soon as we wanted it done. My initial impression of him proved correct: he is honest, ethical, and does excellent work, even though he charges much less than other professional landscapers Also, whereas the other landscaper who gave us a bid wanted us to pay him 50% up front, Marco did not want to be paid until the job was completed and we were satisfied with it. He showed up on time on the day he indicated he'd be there, and he and his crew worked hard and finished up the job in one and a half days. What they did was the following: clean up an old garden bed bordering the front of the house and plant new shrubs in it; clean up the backyard, which was filled with overgrown weeds, unwanted shrubs, a little fishpond surrounded by brickwork (my daughter wanted this taken out because she wants her baby to be able to play in the backyard when he becomes a toddler and a pond would be dangerous), transplant some viable shrubs to better locations in the backyard, and seed and mulch the whole yard. My daughter was very pleased with his work. When I went down to Atlanta (I live in Athens) a couple of days later to see the results, I too was very pleased except for one thing that Marco apparently hadn't understood that we wanted him to do, which was to transplant some liriope plants from the backyard to the front border garden, to fill in some gaps in the liriope border along that garden. I texted Marco about this, and even though he had already been paid, he came back the next day to take care of this. Many landscapers would not have done this once they'd been paid for a job. So, all in all, we were very pleased with Marco's work and my daughter and her husband plan to hire him again in the spring to re-sod their front yard. They plan to recommend him to any friends who need landscaping work done in the future.
