I hired a contractor from Thumbtack, walker remodeling.Walker was hired by me to replace a 16x32 deck with a gable style roof and half was to be screened. With,light,fan and electrical. Walker started July 31, 2023. The code officer passed based on the structure passed on January 4,20024. Walker couldn't finish my project due to discovering he had diabetes. Walker turned to other professionals on Thumtack to complete my project. MONTE OF WHOOD WORKS Was one of the contractors called to complete project in October 20023. Monte and his crew looked at what was completed and would only com''s'plete if started over. So Walkers remodeling was not hired by Joy Alhu co-owner of Walker Home remodeling decided not to hired Whood Works because Monte told them what was needed to complete my project. Joy wrote the review on Thumbtack to hurt Monte's business. Don't let Joy's vindictive review cause you not to hire Monte his honesty and integrity helped with my project. Dan

Needless to say Monte does a bang up job. I’m having a tough time with my nightmare of a builder and having Monte fix the problems that my builder created and finishing the things missed before I close up the walls has been on point. He’s workmanship is top notch and I only wish I could have had him frame up my house. Fireplace frame, soffit, doorframe (missed by builder), shoring up flooring, bracing a joist hanger, adding nails to other hangers and securing others. If you want to make sure it’s done right than get Monte.

Owner was amazing! Very responsive and was able to repair a structural wall in my garage the very next day. He was great with communicating prior to the repair until he finished the job. He was meticulous and left the space spotless. He is now my go to for any framework!
