FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on frequency. A one-hour training session is $50 for a client who trains once a week; however, the price is reduced with her/his frequency on a weekly basis-It pays to be consistent :-)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father told us while we grew growing up, "In life, you will always be one of two things: A teacher, or a student. Remember the value in both experiences." I never stop learning. Whether I am auditing a new fitness format, taking a workshop, and working on my dissertation, I always operate as a teacher who is first and foremost a student.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a high school English teacher, and part time fitness trainer. I remember watching a parent walk into a parent conference out of breath after going up one flight of steps, and I thought, "If we don't teach adults to make healthier choices, we won't have any youth to educate..." I made my transition to full-time fitness Education three years later.
