Introduction: Sharon and Dave's Bio combined Dave can sing, play harmonica and guitar and Native American flute and write songs. Played with many bands. Jammed at Underground Atlanta with some members of the Almond Brothers. At the Catacombs. I got several of my songs placed in Atlanta, Ga. With the Joseph Lowery Group. In the 1980s I entered a song in the Atlanta Songwriters Competition and got second place. I then got approached by Blaine Gauss to write for Red Pelican Publishing and had two songs recorded on Saturn Records. “Love Isn't Always The Good Times” and “Making Love On The Radio.” They both got in the Country Top 100. I became part of an African American Band where I learned blues and jazz. I was the only Native American. They said I was fly. At the time I did not know that was a compliment. I began to travel and play Powwows. I wrote Native American oriented music and sold many albums at the powwows. I met Sharon at one powwow and eventually married her. We then formed a band called Whirling Rainbow that played all over. We then got picked to have our own radio program on WRFG radio in 1996 (See Sharon's Bio.) And we play for the Rastafarians. We also played for the Eastern Band of Cherokee with Ulali an all Native woman group. When we moved to Southeast Ga. We formed a band called Sanctuary that played churches and play at the Fairgrounds for Glynn County Fair and The Big Event at The Gathering Place on St. Simons Island. Sharon Started out in band playing the Eb clarinet and then added the oboe in junior high school and then later added the piano for jazz band in the 1968 to 1970 for high school. All 3 were played later on in the Tallahassee, Fl Community Symphony. I started playing the piano when I was about 8 years old. Had many concerts all throughout until the 1970's. During the 1970's my band director and my church choir director was the same. Mr. Lewis Jones. He could play all instruments. He knew what the band could do and expected such. He knew what the choirs could do and expected the same. He recorded the band concerts and when the cd's came into being he transferred all the concerts to CD and sent every band member all their concerts they had every played in. He was the only person to record my piano duet with a tuba. Since he was also x military we all knew to behave and do our best and give 110% . I sang in choirs from age 10 though my young adult life. One very special church choir was The Church of God in Lawrenceville, Ga. This was during Pastor Bennie Tripplett. He later went on to be the head of all the music for all the Church of God's. During this time between the 1980's he was joined by Delton Alfred and his wife. Also joining us was Sandy Patty. To be able to stand and sing between Mrs. Tripplett and Sandy Patty and Mrs. Alfred ,was awesome. I helped with all the Christmas pageant plays. In the late 1980's I again got in touch with my Native American heritage. I began to dance at Pow Wow's and then later danced with R.C. Mowatt dance company. He had all Native American dancers and drummers. Women and men and children. Many Nations were represented. We danced at military events and bases for their cultural days. We danced at pow wow's and schools. At the schools, they were for all ages. We also danced at some colleges in and around Atlanta, Ga. We all had to give information on what Nation we were from and be able to educate those listening on what our regala meant. For example, I danced women's southern cloth style. Everything I had on has a meaning. Music music music music music music music music music

David is a gifted musician and relates very well with teenagers. He is professional and a pleasure to hear play the guitar or native flute as a role model for his students. My grandson is learning guitar so well with David as his mentor.
