FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the process: nutrition, self-esteem, art, etc., I will either offer an hourly rate, or a flat fee. It is also determined by what the client is seeking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication! Human relations is the foundation to all interaction: if I cannot hear what your needs are, then how can I help? I gather as much information about a client as they are willing to share, and determine what exactly their motivations are for wanting coaching, what the goals are, and if they are indeed ready to take the necessary steps to achieve their goals. It requires passion, desire, dedication ~ You the client must be ready for this challenge! Only then can the desired success be achieved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. On the first weekend of January, I completed my Trainer Certification through Dale Carnegie of Georgia. This experience reinforces my business and human relations skills and understanding, and has provided methods to share that knowledge with others, by creating and implementing personal Vision, through action. I coached for a psychiatrist based in Chicago in two forums [one for men, one for women] and weekly seminars for psychology, coaching, counseling and personal growth, as well as health and nutrition. My day job allows and encourages a constant interaction with art and artists, and I engage and apply my own artistic talents on a weekly if not daily basis. I believe in constant and continued education, in all these aspects; most particularly in understanding human behavior, starting with myself. This approach allows the most open and empathetic approach to helping others address their challenges in life.
