FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not. Again, this is preferential to actually meeting a potential customer and seeing the project. Several components are involved in our estimates: materials assumed to be needed to perform the work, how many people and time it takes to successfully complete a job, what does a job actually entail! A customer may say they want the interior of their home painted. I need to know how much area we are painting, what furniture, wall hangings, patchwork, caulking wall damage, coats of paint we will need to complete the job. It could take two days just to prep some jobs before actually doing the work. Customer and Contractor need to have a clear understanding of this. Every job and individual are treated with the utmost respect and given consideration regarding a job as no two are alike.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to meet onsite with the potential customer to develop the project and have an understanding of what the expected finished job will look like. We can, and do, take work from phone calls and texts (with pics of the project) but prefer to actually meet the customer. We also have a much higher success rate in securing jobs where we meet face-to-face.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Christian Ministries/Counseling which translates into an ethical advantage for us generally. I have worked in construction, on and off, since my earliest years, as my father was a General Contractor. After he passed in 2002 I inherited all of his tools and this business has been growing since 2009. I can do almost anything and what I can't do I have experts that I rely upon to handle. I am certified through Elite Crete in decorative concrete and would love to get this business focused in that dimension.
