Introduction: I will help you become the musician you’ve always wanted to be. Master chords, scales, modes, phrasing and technique. Hi there, My name is Larry Goodman and I teach guitar to students of all ages and abilities. My Commitment to You More than anything, I want you to enjoy learning to play and to express yourself on the guitar. I'll be there to help you learn to play how and what you aspire to learn and play. If you want to understand theory, we'll work on theory. If you just want to learn how to play your favorite songs, we'll work on those. If you decide to take lessons from me, then we embark together on a path that I hope brings you a life-long hobby, an outlet for expression in good times and bad and a passion for the wonderful instrument that is the guitar.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free 30-minute get acquainted session at my home studio in Woodstock. This allows us to get to know each other and determine if we're a good teacher-student fit. $100 per month provides 4 30-minute or 2 60-minute sessions. I also offer a discount for seniors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I seek to understand what the student's goals are related to the guitar and assess where their current abilities are. We work together on a customized curriculum that helps the student progress toward their objectives while becoming an ever-improving musician. Most importantly I want my students to enjoy their journey on the guitar.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing for 25 years. I went to college to become an art teacher and minored in music. I have extensive experience in training and development from the time I spent in the corporate world. I enjoy teaching and mentoring, love the guitar and all genres of music.
