Introduction: Although I took harp lessons from a very early age, it wasn't until high school that I realized that being a professional musician was what I was meant to do. I love performing in any capacity: whether it's Waltz of the Flowers with a ballet, background music for an office holiday party, or accompanying a bride down the aisle, I feel most myself when I am behind my instrument.

What types of customers have you worked with?
I play a lot of background music. My background music repertoire consists of light classical music and pop tunes (Beethoven, Bach, Debussy) and pop tunes (the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Disney, Broadway show tunes).
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I'm not sure people realize how many hours it takes to learn a piece of music. For the three hours of background music I might play for a gig, it has taken me hundreds and hundreds of hours of practice to learn all the music. It's totally worth it though.
