FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For all of our clients we will do an in person meeting to go over details about their photography needs. All clients are welcome to email or remain in contact via phone, if they have any questions. We consider ourselves wedding experts, after having shot probably around 200 weddings by now, and this being our sole career, we can answer just about any questions you may have in regards to your big day! All of our clients get a full print release back as well, and their photos are returned through a custom link, which may be shared with guests at no additional charge.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We began our education in photography in 2003, when attending Moorpark College under Professor and Professional Photographer, John Gray. From there we became part of the college newspaper photography and journalist staff. Among graduating with an AA in 2005, we continued our education at UCSB and was mentored by amazing wedding photographer Tim Halberg, where it was then we underwent our wedding photography training and began our wedding photography experience.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A lot of photographers today are calling themselves a "pro" while doing this as a complete side job to make extra bucks. A lot of times their images will have feet and hands cropped out, an immediate red flag that this photographer is an amateur. These "pros" tend to offer their services at ridiculous low costs, (eg, 8 hour wedding being $1500!). The best advice I can give if you're looking for a wedding photographer, is review what you want. If it is not a big deal to go with someone who does this for a side gig, just making some extra money, then that is the right photographer for you. We specialize in weddings and this is our sole career. Our rates reflect experience, confidence, dependability, an experience that is irreplaceable, and beyond all that, we sincerely care about what we do. We never overbook clients. And we give all our clients the time they deserve. We have flexible payment options as well.
