Kalona was the most wonderful wedding planner. From the very first time I spoke to her, she was polite, accessible, and patient. Wedding planning can be a very time consuming, stressful time in a brides life, but Kalona made this journey as simple as possible! The ceremony was absolutely perfect. I honestly couldnt have imagined the day to go any smoother. Kalona has an amazing team of photographers, hair/make up stylists, musicians and more. The cake was even stunning (and delicious) too! While doing research on weddings in Hawaii, I contacted many sites, but no other planner was as responsive as Kalona. I couldnt be happier with our decision to go with Kalona and A Rainbow in Paradise Weddings!

Kalona helped put together some of the logistics around our wedding at Waimanalo Bay in Hawaii. This included coordinating the photographer and arranging for a wedding cake as well as beach permit, flowers and chuppah. We really appreciate Kalona's work in helping make sure our day was extra special. Kalona was always responsive when we contacted her leading up to the wedding, and we were very happy with everything she coordinated. She was very helpful in providing recommendations for our wedding when we requested them. We have no hesitation in recommending Kalona's services, as she was incredibly helpful and professional leading up to and on our wedding day.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have no standard because weddings are very personal. I will always work with your budget whether your wedding is only 2 or 200
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new couples I like to speak with them over the phone or FaceTime. This is good when a lot of details are involved for your wedding to come out smoothly. If for a ceremony I like to email out a ceremony sample so a new client will get an idea of what it will consist of. Edit the ceremony as you wish to reflect your own personal beliefs. If you are interested in a sample please just ask.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had 10 years in the Food Service and Hotel Management field
