Introduction: Hello!
My name is Hoku and I’m a photographer from Kaneohe. While I’ve been shooting professionally for three years, a camera has been in my hands most of my life. I specialize in portraiture. I love the creative process of capturing people in a way that expresses who the both of us are, in a way that exudes confidence captured in frames that will be looked at and cherished forever. Lighting and mobile studio gear are always on hand by request to create scenes anywhere, indoor or out, and at any time of day. I also offer film in addition to my primary digital photography to add a unique element of grain and color to any project.

There are some photographers who have a talented eye for this... and then some who just have a nice camera, thankfully Hoku has both lol. He is a true artist and light expert. When I receive new pictures from him I am just constantly blown away, and I have worked with a lot of people. He is extremely down to earth and so kind. You will instantly feel comfortable with him!

Hoku has by far, become my favorite photographer to work with! He's amaaaazing! So professional, and made me feel so comfortable during the shoot. I felt so at ease and seeing the final product really helped boost my self image. Every shot was magic!
