When hiring a henna artists it is important to know what their skill level is like, what materials they use to create their body art (no chemicals or "black henna"!), and it is also important to know what types of designs they are familiar with. There are some talented henna artists out there who have never done traditional wedding mehndi designs, and they can have a hard time bringing the design together....it can also take them a lot longer to create the piece, which can cost you a lot more when you are paying by the hour.
